LED Saving Solutions becomes Lighting Facts Partner

GREATER PHILADELPHIA, PA – (May 1, 2010) - LED Savings Solutions has become a Lighting Facts Partner as well as an SSL Quality Advocate, both which show the company’s commitment to representing only the highest quality products and promoting truth in advertising. The United Stated Department of Energy has taken the lead to ensure high quality LED products by creating the Lighting Facts Partnership Program. LED Saving Solutions also requires its manufacturers to be registered with the Lighting Facts program and recommend that they complete the independent testing requirements and submit their products to the program.

Once the independent testing reports are approved by the DOE, the Lighting Facts Label is awarded. See below for details on what the label includes:

  • Lumens per Watt/Efficacy
Measures efficiency. The higher the number, the more efficient the product.
Reported as “Efficacy” on LM-79 test report.
  • IESNA LM-79-2008
Industry standardized test procedure that measures performance qualities of LED luminaires and integral lamps. It allows for a true comparison of luminaires regardless of the light source.

About LED Saving Solutions: www.LEDSavingSolutions.com

LED Savings Solutions is a national energy reduction company that saves tens of thousands of dollars each month for its clients, with cash flow positive results in the very first month. They have established ground-breaking international production and financing relationships that help reduce up-front costs to $0 for property owners. Their ‘best-of-breed’ approach is simply based on comprehensive auditing, savings reports, lighting design, and matching the most cost-effective next generation lighting products with the needs of their clients. LED lights can reduce the electricity cost of lighting by 50% to 80% and many last up to 80,000 hours which equates to several decades under typical usage levels. LEDs also reduce the cost of replacing other bulbs every few years. Plus, LED lights do not have the toxic Mercury that is an environmental hazard and more costly to recycle given the requirement for controlled conditions.
